Summer Dreaming

Although it snowed [again] this morning, atop our already 14-inches of snow (give or take), the air had a "touch of spring" and the bird's song was chipper than what it has been.

Spring is definitely on its' way. Today, I was most certainly made aware of this.

When I went for my afternoon walk, I thought about spring, and the summer that would soon follow. I thought about picnics and bike rides; hiking and garden parties; and my Grandchildren and zoos, carnivals, playgrounds, and Knoebels!!

If you're from Pennsylvania, or a surrounding state, I'm sure you've heard of this awesome amusement park, or you have been there. And it truly is awesome! It's free to enter the park (yay for anyone who doesn't 'do' rides), it's very family oriented, it has a picnic area, clean restrooms (yes, this is important), and there are kiddie rides, family rides, thrill rides, games, food stands, shows, and so much more!

There's even options for the ride fees. You can pay one price for all-day rides, pay one price for sundown evening hours, pay per ride, or go on certain 'specials' days for great pricing as well.

It's just an awesome park!! And this year, my Grandchildren will experience it with me & the hubs! I AM SO FREAKIN EXCITED!!!

So today I dreamt about the warm season....and Knoebels....cause I'm just a big kid at heart!! And oh yeah, I love thrill rides!! Thinking my Grandson will follow in my footsteps, when I explained Knoebels to him a couple of weeks ago, his first question was, "Gramama, can I go on a roller coaster?"....haha, a boy after my own heart! {no, I was not asked or paid to write this post, today smelled so much like spring that it really had me thinking about summer, and amusement parks...and warm sunshine, night breezes, and complete R&R}
