Cha Cha Cha Changes...

Hi Everyone, I know, I've been ignoring this blog terribly. So sorry. Honestly, I'm broken...missing my two wolf pups so . very . much! And I've been making some changes in my life. I moved into a new art studio space, like a month ago, and I'm STILL unpacking & organizing. Gah!! It's taking me so much longer than I had anticipated. I'm also researching blogging platforms, e-commerce platforms, and web hosting companies, so I can "go it alone". I'm hoping that I settle on something soon, so I can begin to set-up and get back to writing, crafting/designing/making, and selling. So stayed tune for updates and hopefully, a few new links where you'll be able to find "me & my creative stuffs". Happy Spring!!

I've been ignoring this blog for a few weeks now. Sorry! The last few weeks have been difficult, and hectic, and sad...

My furry best canine friend, my canine soul-sister, my gorgeous white wolf girl, passed away just before Thanksgiving. I'm still having crying spurts throughout the week. She was almost 15-years-old, she lived with me since she was a puppy, and we were close, very bonded, so this has been a struggle for me. Not to mention that December 26th was the 3rd anniversary of my canine soul-mate, my most handsome & well loved wolf boy, who passed away not only the day after Christmas, but also the day before his 12th birthday. And he too shared my life & home since he was a wee little puppy. Both my girl pup and boy pup had grown up together, with me, and I work from home, so I was basically always with them. Again, these past few weeks have been very difficult time for me. 

On a lighter note, I'm back, with crying spurts but nonetheless I'm back, and I'm finally caught-up with all the custom orders I had received before the holidays! WooHoo!

So what's new now, well I've decided that, although I greatly appreciate all of you lovelies who enjoy my work, starting this new [2018] year, I will no longer be taking custom orders for any of my work (art, jewelry, perfumes, bath salt soaks, etc.). I will, however, have a new process for the work I create/design, aiming it more specifically towards seasons instead of "whatever, whenever". So be sure to keep watch here for any & all new products I create and post for sale.

Time Flies

{time flies when you're having fun} My vacation time is over; tomorrow I'll be back in my art studio. But tonight I'm reflecting on a wonderful week I spent with my Fur Kids and Grandbabies! There was much laughter, quiet moments, smiles, and a few [expected] episodes of tantrums, not sharing, and tattletales. We shared stories, had picnics, took long walks, and played the silliest of games. Aside from cooking, cleaning up, some down-time, and sleep, we spent the entire week outside; bouncing on the trampoline, on blankets & oversized pillows in the grass, on the patio swing, and on walking trails. My vacation ended with a visit to the fair with my Hubby & Grandkiddos. We went on rides, ate cotton candy, and pet horsies. I survived the week, my Grandchildren survived the week wink emoticon and my Fur Kids survived the week. I miss the little ones already. And I’m feeling a bit melancholy thinking about the quiet, slower paced week that’s ahead of me. I’m exhausted, but feel so incredibly alive. I missed this. The fun, endless days of living and spontaneity. The not worrying and just being. I did not miss the Internet or social media. Not at all. So I promised myself to stare at clouds more, walk slower, breath deeper, and reflect more on just being. I’m going to try my best to cut my art studio hours, to create more art works and design more jewelry on my patio instead of in my studio, and to log into social media less. One other thing this week has taught me is how much I miss my Daughter being little and the fun times we shared. I think when my Grandkiddos go back to school, I’ll steal my Daughter away from her household chores for a day so we can go for a ride in the countryside on roads less traveled; maybe stop for a milk shake or a walk around a quiet pond. Hope everyone had a great week and weekend. I know mine was priceless!

Vaca Week

I'm taking a vacation from my studio this week...spending the time with my fur kids, the hubs, and my best Grandkiddos ever....looking forward to picnics, long walks, playgrounds, trampoline time, sidewalk chalk, bicycle rides, dipping toes in the river, barefooting afternoons, staring at clouds, watching Disney movies & Goosebumps, dancing till we fall down, Slip 'N Slide fun, howling with the pup, chasing kitties & squirrels, singing silly songs, sitting by the fire pit, swing lounging, baking some goodies, and playing with my new phone's camera & video. :-) Have a great week everyone!

To Catch A Sneeze
