Winter Mane Help

Dry, dull hair?? Try one of these easy herbal final rinses to help restore your mane! These rinses can be used with each shampooing.

{for dark hair}
Add a full pinch of dried Sage and dried Rosemary to a tea ball, tea strainer, or cheesecloth. Bring water to a boil. Place the herbs in an 8oz. cup and pour hot water over them. Steep for 10 - 15 minutes. Strain. Let cool. Shampoo (and condition) as normal. Rinse hair thoroughly. Slowly pour herbal rinse over hair, being sure to saturate evenly. Do NOT rinse. Leave this herbal rinse in. Dry and style as you normally do.

{for light hair}
Add a full pinch of dried Chamomile and dried Rosemary to a tea ball, tea strainer, or cheesecloth. Bring water to a boil. Place the herbs in an 8oz. cup and pour hot water over them. Steep for 10-minutes. Strain. Let cool. Shampoo (and condition) as normal. Rinse hair thoroughly. Slowly pour herbal rinse over hair, being sure to saturate evenly. Do NOT rinse. *Drooling*

Just popping in to share a some links of a few recipes that I just added to my "gotta try" list. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

My hubs enjoys baking zucchini bread....I'm thinking we try this recipe out and make it a "zucchini food night"!! http://damndelicious.net/2014/04/02/zucchini-fritters/

Whenever I'm invited to a summer BBQ or garden party, I usually make a quick & easy dessert called "Watergate Salad"....does anyone remembers this simple & delicious recipe from the 70's? It's basically pistachio pudding mix, pineapple in juice, and marshmallows. I know, totally high sugar, but so very good! I recently discovered this recipe, which is pretty much like "Watergate Salad", only with cherries...a must try for me! http://www.momontimeout.com/2014/02/cherry-fluff/

And last but not least, a super yummy dessert recipe for those lazy, warm days of summer (which are almost upon us, yay) >> http://www.momontimeout.com/2014/04/raspberry-pretzel-salad/
