Where Fairies Dance

Here's my latest fine-art print that's available at my Etsy shop.

While out for a walk the other day, I came across this awesome, incredibly gorgeous 'charmed' section of the woods. I absolutely love it here! It's quite, peaceful, enchanting, and it would be perfect for my Yoga practice!! Or for just sitting down, amongst the trees, watching & listening to the nature creatures going about their day....or night.

This print is available in a variety of sizes, staring at a 4x6 print, and going up to a 16x20 print size. Stop by the shop to see this photo print, and to browse through more.

Infusing Flower Water

The hubs & I harvested some white and purple Lilacs today, from our backyard. Beautiful flowers, beautiful fragrance! I added a few flowers to a vase in my art studio, those Lilacs are now happily sharing said vase with some red Roses. The aroma in my studio is amazing, to say the least.

The remaining amount of Lilacs will be solar infusing for the next couple of weeks. Once the infusion is ready, I'll have some wonderful, super fragrant Lilac floral water. Some of the water will be mine, all mine....mauhahahahaha....and some will be available at BlueBellaDonna, my Etsy shop.

I'm so excited, I can't wait to smell, and use this Lilac water!!

Fairy Dust Necklace

Here's one of the newest designs I created for my Etsy shop > BlueBellaDonna. It's a pretty "Fairy dust" necklace. The glass vial is filled with pretty pink dusting glitter...and a special note for faith & hope. Stop by my shop to read more about this cute one-of-a-kind necklace...

Stacking Stretch Bracelets

My Etsy shop (BlueBellaDonna) is open once again. I still have to update listings, and photos, but customers are able to browse & purchase items at my shop.

And I'm slowly adding to my shop listings. The most recent items are these two pretty stacking stretch bracelets. They look great together, or alone, and go with almost any outfit.

I'm also working on crafting a lovely, fragrant solid perfume, rose scent, that will be added to this beautiful antique bronze locket. I painted the glass cabochon a rosey pink, and added glitter to the drying paint to give it some pizzazzy sparkle!! This cute pendant will be available real soon at BlueBellaDonna.

It's another rainy & chilly day here at my art studio. Another day to stay inside, get creative & crafty, and drink lots of Chai to stay warm. Have a great Wednesday everyone!!

Pardon My Mess

Some changes are beginning to happen. My new brand & business name is BlueBellaDonna. In the next few weeks changes will be made to my website, online shops, social media accounts, business cards, product labels, etc. This is an exciting time for me, and I'm hoping that this process of moving from one name to another will be quick, and go smoothly.

As changes are made, I'll be sure to post a new URL link, or the new information here so that everyone can find me & my products easily. In the meantime, I want to thank you all in advance for your patience during this transitioning time.

Here's one of the first herbal products featuring my new business name that will be listed in my Etsy shop ASAP!! It's a wonderful healing & soothing herbal skin salve made with comfrey, lavender, chamomile, olive oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax....stay tuned for it's shop arrival! {no, it's not your eyes, or a shaky camera image, it's my printer....hence one more reason why I have labels ordered for my products}

Getting There....

I'm finishing-up the painting & re-organizing in my art studio. Yeah, I know, it's taking me forever to get this done. It's hard work dealing with pups, kitties, domestic chores, homemaking, creative ventures, herbal workings, and life-in-general, never mind throwing in painting & re-organizing (and thrashing 'stuffs') an art studio. Nonetheless, I should be done by the end of this week.

And what does that mean? Well, it means that I'll be going full-force into crafty-creativeness....designing jewelry, creating altered-art pieces & home decor, and crafting uber-awesome herbal goodies. Stay tuned, next week I'll be completely & totally immersed in incredible artsy & herbally wonderfulness!! My Etsy shop will be exploding with "wow" in the next few weeks! :-)

[a] Saturday Post

I've been busy this week. I designed "things", crafted "things", researched "things", cooked "things" {teehee}, and WAITED ALL DAMN DAY TODAY FOR A DELIVERY THAT NEVER HAPPENED! I so dislike waiting for deliveries. This was the second day this week that said delivery was supposed to take place, and didn't. Guess the 3rd time is a charm...at least it better be. Geesh!

I added a couple of pretty & stylish stretch bracelets to my Etsy shop this week. I love designing these little lovelies while watching television with the hubs. It's quite relaxing.

And I designed & added this glass tile cabochon pendant & charm to my shop too...

I created a new bath salt scent....and added that to my shop as well....loving this scent, it's powerful, but completely wonderful!! {Rosemary & Sage}

And I finally did "something" with this metal plant pot that I've had for a year now. A little hand painting "magic" and presto, a pretty home decor item!! I'm very pleased with how this turned out. It was late in the evening when I pulled out my paints to paint this, I was a bit tired. But once I got the paint brush in my hand, I just went with it and the "something" just flowed out of me onto the pot. This really would make a cute sunroom decoration, add some dried flowers or herbs and oh yeah, pretty, pretty. It would also make a pretty garden wedding decoration. Again, some dried flowers or even fresh flowers, in a separate small pot though, this metal plant pot isn't waterproof...but it is cute though, right?!

I've exhausted myself this week with creative, crafty, and curiously clever tasks....and so I will leave you all now with this wonderful quote which turned out to be my favorite for the week >>

My Saturday "Likes"

The last few days have been super busy for me. As in, it was just Tuesday...but now it's Saturday...how did that happen! Since I'm still incredibly busy, I'm making tonight's blog post a 'quickie'. So here's a few of my favorite "likes" for today >>

Here's a basic, simple, and super easy recipe to make yourself a homemade Lavender skin toner. Lavender Essential Oil is antiseptic and antibacterial - and it's awesome for blemished skin! I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to 'fix' one up for this post and capture my own photos to use. But I did find a lovely Lavender photo on a free wallpaper site that I'm using here. It really is lovely isn't it?

Lavender Skin Toner

What you need:

• 2-ounces distilled water
• 2-ounces Witch Hazel
• 15 to 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Daily To-Do = Daily Struggles

::Monday Morning:: Started this week with every inch of my being determined to finish each of my daily to-do lists.

::Monday Early Afternoon:: Determination is still strong. It's a driving force that's pushing me forward. Things are moving along smoothly. Yay for focus!

::Monday Mid-Afternoon:: WTF? Where did the day go?! My Monday's to-do list doesn't even look like it's been tampered with. Disgust is setting in.

::Monday Late Afternoon:: I practice Yoga. I'm beyond this 'kicking-myself-in-the-butt' for not accomplishing things I set out to do. Yep, sure, I'm seriously trying to believe this!

::Monday Evening:: A few things checked-off my to-do list. It makes me happy...a little. But I had these huge dreams for today, this week. I think I just blew those dreams out-of-the-water. But perhaps not. Hmmm...still hopeful.

::Monday Night:: I give-up! There's only so much that can be done in one day. So I didn't complete more than half of my "Monday's to-do list"....I'll just try to squeeze in some of today's to-do list into tomorrow's. And if not, well, I have a whole week to bitch about it get done what I need to get done. I can do this!!

What did I get done on Monday?

• All of the herbal oils I set-out to infuse, are infusing. Check.

Almost "Hump Day"

I was going to wait until tomorrow to write this post. But I have a few appointments and some errands to run, I don't see myself having enough hours in the day tomorrow to 'over multi-task', like I usually do. Sometimes I just have to slow-down, no matter how hyper a person I tend to be. So here's a quick update on a few of the newest listings at Bohemian Bluebell Cottage > I'm now offering my Chocolate Milk Bath in a smaller size. Shameless Plug

I've been working my tush, bum, butt, behind off (you get the point) to get this blog started. My Etsy shop, as of now, has been keeping all of my attention though. It's not like my Zazzle shop, where you just upload images, select merchandise for them to appear on, add some copy, and "run". No, no, running an Etsy shop is dreaming, researching, reading, experimenting, designing, creating, crafting, photographing, editing, listing & copyrighting, posting, promoting, social "mediaing", emailing, supply inventory, accounting, and so much more. It's wonderful, running your very own shop, but it can be exhausting, and a bit overwhelming at times.
